Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy family drama film directed by Karan Johar and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy. Produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios, the film stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. It is about a couple with contrasting personalities who decide to live with each other's families for three months before getting married. The film was announced in July 2021. Principal photography commenced in August 2021 and wrapped up in March 2023. The film was shot in Mumbai, New Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir and Russia.The music of the film is composed by Pritam and the cinematography is handled by Manush Nandan. The film is scheduled for release on 28 July 2023.
